    Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is the formal term for mental health therapy. This is a service provided by a licensed mental health professional with a focus on emotional healing. This typically includes sitting in an office and having a conversation with your therapist, although I do offer non-traditional methods as well (see below).

    EMDR

EMDR is a unique form of therapy developed for the treatment of psychological trauma. I am a trained and certified EMDR provider through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). Rather than talking about what you experienced, EMDR provides the opportunity for your brain to access the healing mechanisms it is designed to use for processing and resolving psychological trauma.

    Nature Based Therapy

I believe in the importance of movement and nature to improve psychological wellbeing. My office is adjacent to a natural wooded setting, ideal for walk-and-talk sessions. I’m happy to incorporate this when weather allows - just ask!
