MEET THE TEAM

Allison Gildner, Owner and Psychotherapist

Allison has been practicing as a Psychotherapist in the state of Minnesota since 2015. She launched her private practice in 2022, with the goal of more effectively meeting the mental health needs of the Brainerd Lakes Area. She specializes in treating pregnancy, postpartum, anxiety, and trauma disorders.

When she’s not in the office, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, being active in the community, and venturing into the great outdoors. She is an active member in her church, Lakewood Evangelical Free of Baxter, MN.

Rebecca Harper, BS, PBHC

Rebecca joined the Elevate Psychotherapy team in 2025. She is certified in Perinatal Behavioral Health Coaching through FamilyWell Health. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology through Louisiana State University.

Rebecca lives in the mountains of Utah and enjoys spending time with her family. She has recently worked for the University of Utah’s research laboratory, and has operated her own business. She now enjoys working from home as a PBHC while caring for her four children. She has personal experience with perinatal challenges including perinatal mental health symptoms, a twins pregnancy, and a NICU experience. She is Catholic and enjoys incorporating that worldview into her work if clients are interested.

Bandit, Office Dog and Therapy Dog in Training

Bandit joined Allison’s family in 2024. He quickly demonstrated that he has the right disposition for a therapy dog, so he began accompanying Allison to the office. He is currently in training and will soon be testing for the Canine Good Citizen certificate through the American Kennel Club, after which he can work toward the Therapy Dog certification. For now, he simply enjoys quietly participating in sessions and demanding head scratches from clients. Bandit is 75% Golden Retriever, 25% Standard Poodle, and 100% a sweetheart. He loves playing fetch, going for a swim, or snuggling on the couch with his family. He is always up-to-date on vaccinations and is professionally groomed on a consistent schedule.
